"Fox is putting a trailer of Jennifer's Body in front of Bruno this Friday. Great, right? Only problem is it's not our trailer. It's kind of a straight horror preview and while we're sure it'll appeal to many of you, we wanted to make sure you guys got to see our cut... Lets call it the "filmmaker's cut". We think it captures the comedy and scares of the horror films we grew up on - a kind of nostalgia for when horror films were fun. Can't wait to show you the whole film... In the meantime, here's the red band trailer we wanted our fans to see."

ReplyDeleteI think that the original trailer is soo sooo sooo much better! It actually shows more what the movie is really about.
I agree. I'd be interested to know if it would have had a better opening weekend if this trailer had been better promoted or promoted at all for that matter...much better the original way!
ReplyDeleteWhile I still wouldn't throw down money to see this, based on the original trailer (rather than the one we saw in class), I'd definitely be interested in seeing this on DVD. It makes it seem very tongue in cheek, rather than the trailer from class, which made it seem like a crappy horror movie.
ReplyDeleteI totalllly agree!! what in the world were they thinking with the second trailer? There's so much more to see in the first trailer! I didn't even know Adam Brody was in it until now
