Sorry... I understand that everybody is growing up faster nowadays, but acting like a whore at the age of 15/16 and creating an image of a slut... is sad and inappropriate for a girl this age.

ugh... she just drives me crazy.

  2. Please tell me you read ONTD. Also I fell bad for the girl, she's making mistakes as she's growing up and everyone's judging her for it. While I might not agree with the things she's doing, I don't think we should be calling a 15 year old a slut.

  5. Elyse: I'm not sure if you can edit comments or not.

Dominika: I think Miley is a really interesting example of a girl who, as a very profitable product marketed to tweens, is supposed to convey a virginal, innocent image. At the same time, she is a rich, famous teenager, doing the same stuff that non-rich, non-famous teenagers do (like taking sexy photos of herself- Glenn I love that you tracked this down!). Maybe this contradiction is why she inspires such strong opinions.

  6. I don't think that Miley should be criticized for posting something like the second photo because she is a 15 year old, immature girl, however, because she is the celebrity and because she has the success and role model-esque image, I feel like she needs to not act her age in this aspect because people are counting on her to set a good, and more mature example.
